We are opening again from 10th July, in accordance with government regulations. We have undertaken a full risk assessment, adapted our cleaning processes, systems & management plans to ensure that we are doing all we can to keep everyone as safe as possible during the Covid pandemic. Some elements of staying at Aspen Lodge will be slightly different to normal, but we strive to offer our guests the best self catering experience we possibly can within the guidelines, and we have been given ‘Good to Go’ status by Visit Britain. We are looking forward to seeing all our lovely guests again from 10th July onwards. Stay safe!

Aspen Lodge

Overlooking the shores of Loch Sunart, Aspen Lodge is a luxury holiday home tucked into a hillside on the Ardnamurchan Peninsula, in the remote and rugged Scottish Highlands. It enjoys panoramic views of the loch and the wild moorland below, with mountains beyond.

Aspen Lodge is the perfect base for your holiday, whether you want adventure and exploration or escape and relaxation.  By day there are nature reserves, beaches and castles to explore, trails to trek or cycle, boat trips, kayaking and more. By night, enjoy a barbecue under the dark sky, an evening curled up in front of the open fire with a good book, or unwind in one of the Lodge’s spa baths.

Welcome to Aspen Lodge, a unique hideaway, in a magical setting.

Safe & Clean

We are very much looking forward to re-opening Aspen Lodge on 10 July. We would like to thank all of our guests for working with us, and being so understanding in these difficult and uncertain times.

We would like to reassure you that we have tailored our response to the pandemic with the safety of our guests and housekeeping team being our main priority. In particular:

  1. Our property managers have undertaken specific contamination training to ensure that their cleaning products and techniques are as thorough and advanced as possible, and specifically tailored for eradicating germs.
  2. In accordance with the government cleaning advice for non-healthcare environments and the industry guidance for self-catering accommodation, hard surfaces within the house will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, and all linen is laundered appropriately.
  3. Our house brochure and welcome letter are provided in electronic format only – which guests may download and read at their leisure.
  4. We have always provided handwash for our guests at the lodge, and we have now added hand sanitiser and gloves. We would ask guests to bring their own masks please.
  5. We have been deemed Good to Go by Visit Britain, which indicates that we are following government and industry guidelines, and have a process in place to maintain cleanliness and comply with government guidelines.
